CSK’s legacy once again diminished the sparkling SRH in VIVO IPL 2018.

It all started with a giggle on the ground when MS Dhoni tickled SRH’s skipper Kane Williamson over his call on the toss.

MSD won the toss and opt to ball first. MSD knew the back firing power of his batting squad during the high run chases and showed a bright confidence on them.

SRH managed to score 178 for 6 wickets in the first innings including the valuable knock from the key player of the tournament – KANE WILLIAMSON. He managed to snatch 47 off 36 including five boundaries and tow massive hits over the ground.

Yusuf Pathan came out of syllabus for the CSK’s bowling unit. The unsung hero played the role of finisher for SRH helping them scoring a par score for the survival. He contributed 45 runs off 25 balls in the death overs including four boundaries and two biggies with the strike rate of 180.

C Braithwaite also made 21 runs off 11 balls but was certainly unable to score big runs in the last two over of the innings.

After a short break, teams resumed with the changed ends.

SRH with its most efficient balling attack of the tournament just made the perfect start. CSK scored only 20 runs off first 5 overs losing Faf Du Plesis in the fourth over, which was really a havoc for the team. Shane Watson wasn’t even able to start off in the first 10 deliveries faced by him.

But somehow things turned around with the last over of this VIVO IPL season.

Shane Watson and Suresh Rains just proved that LUCK FAVORS THE BOLD.

They added 117 off just 57. Shane Watson just changed his mind from the 11th delivery he faced.

Shane Watson solely declared the CSK’s victory by playing the most impressive knock of the VIVO IPL finals ever. He became the first player to shoot a century in the VIVO IPL finals ever. He made 117 off 57 by hitting the ball all over ground. Eleven times ball raced to the boundary and six times ball just became the shooting star in his innings.

Suresh Raina added 32 off 24 in the partnership with Shane but somehow got trapped by C Braithwaite in the 14th over of the match.

But it was too late to apologize for the SRH bowlers to the mistakes been done.

The winning shot came from the Rayudu in the 19th over with 9 balls remaining.

The whole CSK dugout just burst out with this magnificent victory over the SRH with 8 wickets in hand.

The mystery spinner from the Afghanistan gave his best for the his side but couldn’t turn match around this time. Rashid Khan bowled his spell of 4 over and just gave 24 runs with a single maiden over with a cypher in his wicket’s column.

Some people said that its MSD’s luck and some said that its poor bowling that made CSK the winner.

All in all it was team effort that made CSK third time champion of the tournament.
